We’re flipping the industry upside down. Join us.

But let’s get to know each other first.

This is us

Woola exists to fight injustice.

Big Oil is en route to making Earth inhabitable for people — because they want higher profits and more power. Our mission is to ruin their plans. So, 98% of the time, we’re standing up for injustice in climate change.

Unfortunately, injustice doesn’t end with climate. But neither does our will to challenge it. When we see a breach of what is right, we take action, because we have the capability and the voice to do so.

Like Taylor Swift says, “sweet like justice, Karma is a queen” — we wholeheartedly believe that we can make a positive change and once we do that, we will also have financial rewards.

If you’re looking for a “normal company” that offers 9-5 without expecting you to challenge the world we live in, we are not it. Like, definitely not.

ARE WE A MATCH?

We care about a great cultural fit a lot, so let’s quickly go over what can make or break the deal.

You have to be an optimist to work with us

We’re in the business of tackling climate change and rebuilding an entire industry – so this one’s really a must.

We often say “sometimes lose, always win” because that’s the only kind of mindset that keeps us going and winning. So, if you secretly know that you tend to get pessimistic in tough situations, it’s just not going to work between us.

Would you say “yes” to operating a forklift?

There’s a high chance that at some point, you’ll have to. Or drive a minivan filled with wool through 3 countries in one day. Or help paint the walls at the office, translate contracts into German, dumpster dive for used bubble wrap for a photoshoot. All of these things have happened before.

Life at Woola is full of surprises, and when these happen, it’s all hands on deck.

Below 100% is not enough

We are in an extremely competitive field (most startups fail and only 0.6% of startups get funded).

We need to be outstanding in order to survive. If we put in 99%, we will not survive as a company. We expect you to put in 100% during working hours.

We’ll pay you to travel the world

Taking a vacation is compulsory, and you can’t postpone it. You’ll get a yearly travel allowance to get out of your bubble, let the experiences and new ideas stream in, and most importantly – grow empathy towards other people and species on the planet.

Honestly, it just makes sense for the company. We’ve gotten some of our best strategic ideas on a glacier in the Arctic — because travelling inspires.

There’s a catch, though. After your trip, you have to make a Powerpoint presentation with your best travel selfies and showcase it to the team (preferably over some snacks).

Freedom & accountability

We’ve gotten here by taking lots of chances and a healthy portion of them have failed.

You need to love the freedom to love working with us. We rely on ownership, so you have to make 99% of the decisions on your own and take responsibility for them. You won’t get in trouble if some of your bets fail, but we won’t work out if you take no bets at all.

Sounds like we’re your kind of people?
